Stream in the woods

Current Conditions

Turbidity is a measurement of how clear the water is. Low turbidity means very clear water, high turbidity means murky looking water. The turbidity sensor measures how easy it is for light to travel through the water, so any floating particles like dirt and algae, that block light, make the water more turbid.

The water level graph shows how high the stream is. The higher the water level, the more water is flowing downstream. At very high water levels, the stream can flood out over the banks.
